The most you might get is the smell of burning hair-which can be disconcerting if you’re not used to it, but is in no way dangerous. If you’re extremely pain adverse to any type of discomfort, Flawless Touch is a good alternative for you because you won’t feel any kind of pain while using it. I was concerned that this was happening because of user error on my part, but a quick Google search of customer reviews on Amazon and other sites showed that this was a common complaint. And while I did get most of the unwanted hair with one pass, it took multiple passes for me to truly clean up my brows-often on long hairs that should have been easily caught up the first time. But when you actually get this device, the instructions say that you have to hold the skin tight with one hand and then work in a circular motion over your skin with Flawless Brows to remove hair. When you watch the commercial, it seems like all you have to do is lightly swipe the Flawless Brow device above, below and between your brows and instantly clean them. Probably my biggest pet peeve is that this device required multiple passes over the same area to finally “catch” the hair and remove it. With Flawless Brows, within four to five days, I had stubble on my brows. Normally, whether it was threading or tweezing, I can go two weeks between touch ups. In reality, this is really just a sleek shaver. When you see the commercials, it’s implied that the hair is removed at the root-as if the device is really an epilator. While Flawless Brows is painless and portable, it’s a stretch to call it the most efficient form of hair removal I’ve ever tried.
